Self Regional is celebrating World Diabetes Day 2013 on Thursday, Nov. 14th in downtown Greenwood with a special community outreach initiative.
Free diabetes assessments and screenings will be offered from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Main Street in Greenwood near the downtown fountain.
At 12:30 p.m. Mayor Welborn Adams will issue a special proclamation.
Refreshments and health information also will be available.
