Self Regional Cancer Center Project Receives Funding from Auxiliary
(Greenwood, S.C., May 16, 2016) – The Self Regional Healthcare Auxiliary and Volunteer Services contributed $20,000 towards the completion of projects to benefit the Self Regional Healthcare Cancer Center. This gift, one of several the SRH Auxiliary has donated during the Forever Self Capital Campaign, will go towards the Auxiliary & Volunteer Services Chemotherapy Infusion Wing, named in honor of all the volunteers who dedicated much time to the project’s completion.
The donation funds came from sales in the hospital’s gift shop, various vendor sales and the largest fundraiser held by SRH Auxiliary, “Lights for Love.”
“It is an honor to have received so much support from the Self Regional Auxiliary and Volunteer Services for this project,” Ken Coffey, executive director of Self Regional Healthcare Foundation, said. ” Their generosity and dedication will benefit the healthcare of our community for many years to come and there is a lot to be said for that.”
