Each year since 1974, the Self Regional Healthcare Auxiliary’s largest fundraising event, Lights for Love, has invited the community to make donations in memory or honor of those who are significant in their lives.
The names of the honorees are displayed in the hospital atrium during the holiday season, and acknowledgement cards are mailed to those being honored or to the family of those being remembered. All contributions from the event, as well as Auxiliary Gift Shop and other vendor sales, are given to Self Regional in support of the needs of patients and the organization.
The Self Regional Auxiliary is happy to announce the 2018 fundraising efforts exceeded $27,000. These contributions will be used to purchase six blanket-warming cabinets for patient use.
