(Greenwood, SC, March 8, 2023)- The Self Regional Healthcare Family Medicine Residency Program received its five-year rolling average American Board of Family Medicine Board Exam Scores this week and the program’s average score is 612.
Why is that a big deal? The national five-year average score at 537, which means that out of the 748 Family Medicine Residency Programs in the US, our scores put us among the top 5 in the nation. In fact, we are tied for 3rd place in the country.
This certainly validates our strategy of recruiting excellent resident physicians, as well as our academic curriculum and board preparation.
Thank you to our faculty, medical staff, pharmacy staff and others who contribute to the education of our resident physicians.
