(Greenwood, S.C., February 21, 2024) The South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) has awarded Self Regional Healthcare and its Affiliates grants amounting in $10.7 million to improve access to medical services in rural and medically underserved areas.
Abbeville Area Medical Center was awarded $2,987,896 to be used for critical infrastructure upgrades, including the revitalization of a Specialty Care practice and significant enhancements to the Operating Room (OR) and Endoscopy suites.
