Lander University
Lander is a coeducational, state-assisted, comprehensive, regional, four-year university in Greenwood. Lander provides exceptional educational opportunities within its traditional liberal arts and science programs, and its professional programs in business, education, and nursing.
Piedmont Technical College
Founded in 1966 and accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, “PTC” is a comprehensive two-year college offering university-level education and hands-on career training.
K-12 Schools
Greenwood County offers three fully-accredited public school districts (50, 51 and 52) and five private schools. They all share the objective of developing productive lifelong learners by creating a positive school climate with innovative educational experiences.

O’Dell Center for Manufacturing Excellence
The brand-new, 45,000-square-foot O’Dell Center houses a 45-booth welding workshop, a robotics lab, classrooms, and fully outfitted mechatronics and machine tool labs. The facility also includes generous flexible space to serve emerging workforce development needs in partnership with area businesses.
