South Carolina Festival of Flowers in June
More than 40 topiary animals are on display throughout the month of June for the SC Festival of Flowers. See the complete calendar of events to enjoy concerts, public and private garden tours, a wine tasting, workshops, lectures, a juried art show, photography contest, theatre performances, a craft fair, sporting events and much more.
Lights on the Lake in July (Independence Day Weekend)
Fireworks light up the sky and the water at Lights on the Lake, a fireworks display held by Connect Lake Greenwood, vendors and sponsors. Attend by land or by water!
Festival of Discovery: BBQ & Blues in July
Professional and amateur competitive BBQ teams take over Main Street for three exciting days of competition and tastings, while a lineup of incredible blues musicians play on festival stages and in local restaurants and bars. This annual event also features an arts & crafts fair, Kidzone, food vendors and rides.
BOO-Bash and Scarecrows on Main in October
Fall brings with it Halloween fun! Costumes, candy, and a scary scarecrow contest.
Holiday Lights on Main
Cheerful snowflakes magically appear on lampposts, and the trees along Main Street and Maxwell Avenue are wrapped in classic white holiday string lights. Whimsical décor can be found throughout Uptown Greenwood, including giant alphabet blocks, a giant Teddy bear, toy soldiers, and more.
Connie Maxwell Christmas Lights
Be sure to visit the Connie Maxwell Children’s Home during December to enjoy their incredible drive-through Christmas Lights display.
Christmas Parade and other Uptown Holiday Events
