We provide a comprehensive range of diagnostic tests and outpatient surgical procedures using the latest technology available. Your care is coordinated by your physician or surgeon and a team of experienced nurses, registered technicians and support staff.
As a part of Self Regional Healthcare, the Ambulatory Care Center provides access to advanced healthcare services and an expanding range of specialists.
The first step is to check in at the Diagnostic Center at the Spring Street entrance to Self Regional Medical Center. Your pre-testing visit is a very important part of your scheduled surgery/procedure and is needed to help prepare you for your visit. You will need to bring all insurance, Medicare or Medicaid cards and a picture ID.
During the visit, we will complete necessary paperwork, admission process and any laboratory or diagnostic studies ordered by your surgeon/physician. A registered nurse will interview you for information about your health history and inform you regarding your pre-surgery/procedure needs. You will need to bring all medications you are taking, including over-the-counter drugs, vitamins or herbal preparations.
Ask Self Regional medical staff for more information about pre-testing and what you need to do to prepare for your surgery/procedure time.
