Self Regional’s Outpatient Intravenous Treatment Center provides medication services, blood, and blood products on an outpatient basis, with a physician referral.
The center can assist with scheduling hospitalized patients who may be discharged and are to receive the remainder of their medications – such as IV antibiotics or anticoagulant injections – on an outpatient basis.
Our services allow patients to receive medications in a comfortable environment and to return home at the completion of treatment.
IV medications commonly given include:
- IV infusions of hydration fluids
- IV infusions of multivitamins
- IV antibiotics
- Venofer infusions
- Iron Dextran infusions
- Boniva
- Remicade
- Reclast
- Solumedrol
- Desferral
- IVIG
Injections include:
- Aransep
- Neulasta
- Lupron
- Antibiotics
- Sandostatin
- Lovenox
- Procrit
- Neupogen
Other common services include:
- Blood transfusions
- Platelets
- Port flushes
